🔒 Short version: We process your GST files in memory only. We never store your financial data on any server. Files are cleared when your session ends. We only collect your name/email/mobile if you voluntarily provide it.

1. Information We Collect

Voluntarily provided: When you use our tools, we may ask for your Name, Email Address, and Mobile Number to personalise your experience and improve our tools. This is entirely optional — you can skip it.

Usage data: We collect anonymised data about which tools you use and how often. This data is linked to your session and helps us improve the product.

Financial files: Your GSTR-2B and Purchase Register files are uploaded for processing only. They are processed entirely in server memory and are NEVER stored in any database or on disk.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the GST reconciliation and other tools
  • To understand usage patterns and improve features
  • To respond to contact requests
  • To send product updates (only if you opt-in)

3. Data Storage and Retention

Financial files (GSTR-2B, Purchase Register): Processed in RAM. Cleared within 30 minutes. Never stored.

User profile data (name, email, mobile): Stored in a secure database on our server. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Usage logs: Retained for 12 months for product analytics, then deleted.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. We do not share your financial data with anyone — ever.

5. Cookies

We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage to remember your preferences and session state. No tracking cookies are used. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics.

6. Security

Our servers use HTTPS (TLS encryption) for all data in transit. Financial files are never written to disk. We follow industry-standard security practices.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@techgstindia.in.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of TechGST after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
